MPUSD Celebrates National STEAM Day: Inspiring Creativity, Curiosity and Innovation

November 8 is National STEAM Day, a time to celebrate the power of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics in preparing students for the future.
Across Monterey Peninsula Unified School District (MPUSD), STEAM learning encourages students to think critically, solve problems, explore new ideas and discover their passions. Whether conducting science experiments, exploring technology, designing engineering projects, creating works of art or applying mathematical concepts, students are developing skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
STEAM education brings together creativity and innovation, helping students make connections between what they learn in school and the world around them. It also introduces students to new interests, college and career pathways, and opportunities they may not have previously considered.
At MPUSD, we believe every student deserves opportunities to explore, create, collaborate and discover what is possible.
This National STEAM Day, we celebrate our students and educators who bring learning to life through curiosity, creativity and innovation every day.
