From October 12-16, 2026, the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is celebrating National School Lunch Week and the important role school meals play in helping students learn, grow and thrive.

Every school day, MPUSD’s Nutrition Services team works hard to provide students with nutritious, delicious meals that help fuel their day. From preparing and serving meals to creating welcoming mealtime experiences, our nutrition services staff play an important role in supporting student success.

School meals provide students with the nourishment they need to stay focused and ready to learn. They also give students an opportunity to connect with friends, recharge and enjoy a positive break during their school day.
