September 14 – 18 is Community School Coordinator Appreciation Week, and Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is proud to recognize the seven Community School Coordinators serving schools throughout our Seaside community.

Community school coordinators play an important role in bringing together students, families, schools, and community partners. They help connect families with resources and services, create opportunities for greater family engagement, build community partnerships, and help address barriers that can impact a student’s ability to learn and thrive.

At MPUSD, we know student success extends beyond what happens in the classroom. Our community school coordinators help strengthen the network of support surrounding our students and families and ensure they know where to turn when they need assistance.

During Community School Coordinator Appreciation Week, we celebrate these seven dedicated team members and thank them for the relationships they build, the resources they connect, and the many ways they support our students, families, and schools.
