As a child of educators, being connected to school life has been a lifelong journey. I pursued a career in Physical Therapy and now work in home health, serving Monterey Country for our residents that are homebound. I lived in Monterey previously, but returned in 2018 to raise my children in this beautiful area. My children attend Monte Vista School, and I have enjoyed being involved in the PTO and making connections with students, staff, and families. This school and these connections are what motivated me to apply for the School Board position. I have always believed firmly in public education, and I admire the goals that MPUSD strives for to meet the needs of this specific community.
I look forward to continuing to foster great relationships with the MPUSD community, and building an environment that helps students transition into the global community after graduation.
