Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School of the Arts

Martin Luther KingMartin Luther King School of the Arts:  The After School Programs at MLK are offered by MPUSD Staff and our lead program partners Community Partnership for Youth.  Both programs are free of charge to our students. Participants are provided a nutritious snack after school, with some time to play or relax with their classmates.  There are rotations of homework assistance and academic enrichment, physical activities, and the opportunity to join in campus clubs and sports.

Students sign in at the end of their regular school day and are grouped by grade levels.  The staff maintain a ratio of 1 adult to 10 students for grades TK and Kindergarten and 1 adult to 20 students for grades 1 through 8.
