V. PUBLIC COMMENT
Minutes:
Ana Munoz, Los Arboles Middle School teacher thanked Noah for the great Ocean Garden year and she also thanked Marci McFadden for sharing the news. Mrs. Munoz is really excited about the Latino expo conference and immigration committee meetings. The students at school will present a theme vegetable
bin in honor of Cesar Chavez. Mrs. Munoz expressed the students love for fresh food in the cafeteria. She also thanked MPUSD for the support they had given her with her son being ill.

VI. PUBLIC AGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
Minutes:
Seaside City Council Member Dave Pacheco thanked Seaside Middle School for making a presentation to the council and community related to computers. The City of seaside donated $3,000 to Seaside High's School Basketball program and $3,000 for Middle School sport programs. Mr. Pacheco shared the great
excitement from parents and concerns regarding the AB288 program. Parents hope the program goes to
Seaside as well.

Dr. PK Diffenbaugh Presented. CSEA President Anna Macaluso expressed that even though employees are not working in the vacant positions, it is hard to loose positions altogether. Ms.
Macaluso informed the Board that CSEA and classified employees do reserve the right to go into
cause and effect of not having that position filled. She also requested that the District share sooner than later the plan for the Transportation Department. Ms. Macaluso hopes that CSEA and the
District can come together. CSEA week in May and on the 24th is the celebration from 4-8 at the Moose Lodge.
