Seaside City Council Member Dave Pacheco thanked Superintendent Dr. PK Diffenbaugh for attending the LULAC meeting regarding Sanctuary City. Mr. Pacheco shared that the City of Seaside donated $3,000 to the Seaside high School Swim Team.

Minutes:
Seaside Middle School eight grade students performed for the audience.

VII.d. Recognition of Mr. Robert Aguilar, Music Teacher at Seaside Middle School and Philharmonic/Jazz Band Students
Minutes:
Seaside Middle School Teacher Bob Aguilar was recognized for performing at the Music Festival held at Disneyland. Seaside Middle School received the highest recognition "Gold Level" from adjudicators for their performance.
Mr. Aguilar thanked the students and parents for their dedication and hard work. The Board recognized Mr. Aguilar for his hard work and dedication to his students. Mr. Aguilar thanked the Board and Superintendent Dr. PK Diffenbaugh for the recognition.

VII.e. Receive AB 288 (Dual Enrollment) College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Presentation
Minutes:
MPUSD Representatives Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed, Lisa Glick, Carli Peck, and Marina High School Principal Rebecca Tyson as well as MPC representatives Jon Knolle, Allison Schelling and LaKesha Bradley Presented. MBTA President Allyson Schweifler shared this is a great idea for students but requested the District consider prior to having MPC teachers on MPUSD campuses, there needs to be some discussion regarding contracting out jobs that MPUSD teachers could do as well as work load impact.
