Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing on June 10, 2025, during open session at 6:30 p.m. on its 2025-2026 budget and Local Control Accountability Plan. The public is invited to attend the public hearing and provide input during the public comment section at MPUSD's District Services Center located at 540 Canyon Del Rey in Monterey.
The meeting will also be available live on AMP-TV or via Zoom (and public comment can be made via Zoom).
Following the public hearing, the Board will consider final adoption at its Board of Education meeting on June 24, 2025. Open session begins at 6:30 p.m.

2024-2025 Local Control Accountability Plan and Budget
The Board of Education held a public hearing on the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District's proposed 2024-2025 budget, proposed 2024-2025 Local Control Accountability Plan, draft Annual Update on the 2023-2024 Local Control Accountability Plan, draft 2024-2027 Federal Addendum, and the draft budget friendly overview for parents on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.The Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 budget, Local Control Accountability Plan, annual update, and federal addendum on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
The Monterey County Office of Education officially approved and signed off on MPUSD's LCAP on October 10, 2024. The final, official document is provided below.
