Special education students get summer opportunity to learn culinary and workplace skills

Thanks to partnerships with local organizations and businesses like Joby Aviation and Earthbound Farms, students got to experience different career paths and get some hands-on experiences.

The three week program mostly focused on teaching students culinary fundamentals and gave them an opportunity to make a meal each day with Central Coast High School’s Culinary TeacherChef Nicole Esteybar.

Students also got to work on building a resume with Central Coast High School Teacher Joanne Guzman.

Thank you to our additional staff members and administrators who made this program a reality: Tana Mazzei, Raycine Torres, Jennifer Smith, Blaze Ray, Kimberly Moir, Tony Sanchez, and Heather Cheatham.
