2022 MPUSD Trustee Area Redistricting
Every 10 years after the U.S. Census is complete, school district trustee areas must be reviewed to examine any necessary changes to boundaries.
The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District oversees three areas within the district's boundaries. Seven trustees are elected to represent one area.
MPUSD is collaborating on the process of evaluating trustee areas with the Monterey County Office of Education. MCOE has hired professional demographers to draft and revise maps. Those maps will be presented to the public and trustees for review.
