April 2026
An Open Message to the MPUSD Community.
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we know this time can bring a lot of excitement, longer days, warmer weather, and busy schedules.
It can also be a time when it feels easier to miss a day here or there.
We want to encourage all of our students to stay engaged. These last 6 weeks of school are incredibly important for learning, building momentum, and ending the year with confidence and pride.
We understand that life happens, whether it’s illness or unexpected circumstances, and we appreciate everything you do to support your child. At the same time, consistent attendance makes a real difference. Missing too many days over the course of the school year can add up, and students who miss 18 or more days are considered chronically absent.
Our shared goal is for every student to finish the year strong and stay on track. We’re cheering our students on and appreciate your partnership in helping them show up, stay engaged, and make the most of every remaining school day.
If your family needs support, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re here to help.
Let’s finish strong, together!
