MPUSD is proud to introduce the new logo for our Adaptive Physical Education (APE) program, a specialized component of our Special Education services that ensures every student has access to meaningful, developmentally appropriate physical education. Adaptive PE supports students with disabilities by tailoring activities, equipment, and instruction to meet individual needs; promoting confidence, movement, health, and joy.
Unveiled in early December 2025 in alignment with Special Education Day (December 2), the new logo reflects our deep commitment to inclusion and the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) promise that all children deserve equitable opportunities to learn, grow, and participate.
At MPUSD, we believe all students are athletes, and our APE program helps make that belief a reality.
