MPUSD Back-to-School Bash | July 27, 2024

The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, its schools, departments, and community partners invite you to the third annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School of the Arts located at 1713 Broadway Avenue in Seaside, CA.

Visit with our school sites and district departments (e.g., Transportation and Nutrition Services), meet our community partners, confirm/enroll students for the new school year.

There will be FREE backpacks (limited to first come, first serve basis), face painting, balloon artists, photo booth, music/entertainment, and free food (limited to one meal ticket per person).

We will also offer sports physicals.

This year to win one of the many prizes, participants must confirm their child's attendance for the new school year or enroll any new student. If families have already confirmed their child's attendance for the 2024-2025 school year, they just need to show proof of confirmation for an enter-to-win ticket for prizes. A table will be available to confirm your registration if you do not have your email confirmation and you will be provided a ticket. If you have not yet confirmed or enrolled your child, you can do so today to save time standing in line to take care of the online registration. Start the process today here!

NOTE: Parking is limited at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School of the Arts. There will be parking available in the back of the school on the blacktop (follow the signs) and the district is working with the local community to access parking in the nearby vicinity. We also encourage walking.

A list of participants (to date) is listed below the informational flyers.
