On behalf of the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, Superintendent Diffenbaugh wishes families a Happy Thanksgiving in a one-minute video here or image below.
I wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving break.
I know this year has been challenging and one that we never expected. We’ll continue to work hard to provide high quality Distance Learning, and continue to monitor the local and state health matrix in order to determine a healthy way to return to in-person learning. When we have more information from the state we’ll host a Town Hall in order to give guidance that may be helpful to you and your family.
In the meantime during Thankgiving break, we hope that you will follow the local and state guidelines in order to stay healthy and slow the spread of COVID-19. We’re all in this together and I wish you a wonderful and healthy Thanksgiving break.
I look forward to students returning Monday, November 30th. Be well and stay safe.
