We are pleased to highlight the teaching and learning occurring each and every day in the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District. We thank our teachers and staff for their passion and dedication to our students and their families. This short, two-minute video showcases the work MPUSD is doing, and the exciting programs and services offered in our schools.

every day we have the privilege and responsibility to serve over 10,000 students we make sure that our students get the very best teaching programs and services available are student they crave connection and I think they got that in a number of ways from Athletics start the career Pathways to parse the curriculum that we teach that should be under social sciences amazing because I've always had supporters teachers advisors classmates that always been helpful and anything that I need all the teachers are welcoming and they make you feel like you belong in their school or wherever you are Chinese Firethorn are students are engaged in deep learning it's inquiry-based there asking questions they're working collaboratively to solve difficult problems and so we really want to read imagine what school looks like sticks and some plumbers tape this was a steam project and the goal was to make something that float when attending Monterrey schools prior to Monterey Bay attended a charter school and when we arrived and they begin attending we are really excited but not only were they getting great instruction in the classrooms and wonderful teachers but they are having access to a lot of extracurricular opportunity such as art music Sports drama when students leave our district we want them to have a tremendous amount of opportunities ahead of them so we've built our district on solid pillars of powerful teaching and learning positive School District culture a commitment to equity Shabazz the lever service mindset and Innovation and creativity ultimately our vision is to be one of the finest Public School Systems in the country because that is what the kids on the Monterey Peninsula deserve
