Early Career Teacher Academy
In MPUSD, we offer additional PD days for early career teachers in their second through fourth year of teaching. The vision of the additional PD days is to focus and build capacity of new and newer to the district teachers to build positive relationships with students, support mental health of students and de-escalate behavior, develop a deep understanding of the standards aligned curriculum, and have time to plan the first few weeks under guidance of an expert.
