English as a Second Language (ESL)

ESL courses focus on knowledge and skills in the English literacy and civics areas of Digital Literacy and US Government/History.. Classes offer growth in reading, writing,speaking, listening and technology in a sequence of levels.

Computer
Do you feel inexperienced in computer use? This course offers an introduction to basic computer use and terminology taught in simple English. The beginner class focuses on skills such as clicking, double clicking, scrolling, and dragging.. Students will become comfortable with keyboarding and identifying parts of the computer.
 
The intermediate class introduces the new computer users to the World Wide Web and PowerPoint.  Students will learn how to navigate the web, use search engines, and stay safe online. Students will also create PowerPoint presentations which can be shown in a classroom or business setting.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) This is the entry level class into the growing nursing profession. The 7-week course is fast-paced, with instruction in the classroom and practical experience learned in a clinical setting. Please click HERE for additional information.
